Create a tracked PDF QR code

Upload a PDF, create a dynamic QR code, and track what happens after the PDF is shared.

SGNL lets you upload a PDF and generate a tracked link and QR code around it.

This works well for brochures, catalogues, menus, price lists, product guides, company profiles, event documents, and sales material.

How do I create a tracked PDF asset?

Upload the PDF, name the asset, describe where it will be shared, preview it, then choose whether to use Direct PDF mode or Smart Preview.

1

Upload your PDF

Upload one PDF file and wait for the upload progress to complete.

2

Create or continue with an account

PDF assets need an account because SGNL must store the file, connect it to your workspace, and keep the dynamic link available.

3

Name the PDF asset

Use a clear internal name such as your catalogue name, menu name, or brochure name.

4

Choose where the PDF will be shared

Pick a channel such as general, print, WhatsApp, email, social media, website, event, or in-store.

5

Add a placement name

Optionally describe the exact poster, fair, campaign, or message where the PDF will appear.

6

Preview the PDF

Verify the document inside the preview panel before generating the asset.

7

Choose Direct PDF or Smart Preview

Direct PDF keeps the experience simple. Smart Preview opens the file in SGNL’s viewer to collect deeper engagement analytics.
